National Lottery Heritage Fund
The National Lottery Heritage Fund, invest around £1.2 billion in the UK’s heritage. Supporting incredible projects nationwide from buildings, landscapes, museums, memories and species. It allows members of the public to apply for funding to support local community driven projects that are important to the heritage and culture of the area.
The brief was to design a brochure for grant applicants and members that implemented the new NLHF brand guidelines and showcased the wide breadth of photography from funded projects.
The magazine layout uses variations of full page spreads and thoughtful crops to utilise the extensive photography library the trust posses, sourced from a broad range of commissioned professional photography to public entries. It was also important to introduce the rich brand colour palette to compliment the photography and also help break up the lengthy sections.
